Korean Banban Chicken Batam

Korean fried chicken, hotoek, cheese ball very nice. The place is an open space without ac. Furniture and tableware is quite old. 1 more thing that i only give it 4 star is there have pet (cat).

The food here was great and Ahjumma is very friendly. They even gave us gogumma cheeseball for free and it was delicious too. Recommended food; banban chicken, jumeokbap, sundubu jiggae, gogumma cheese ball.

Friday night. No one else in the restaurant. Had our order come in after 35 mnts. Terrible service. I hope there will be improvement on out next visit. Luckily food is great. PS: this is not my first time here but today’s service was especially terrible.

The chicken is very delicious! rose topokki is also quite good, kimbab is delicious when dipped in topokki sauce!! there are many menu options available and I think I’ll come back to try various other menus. (the waiting time is a bit long, if u come and chit chat with ur friends it might not be noticeable, but if u’re very hungry it might be a problem)

BanBan Chicken is a hidden gem if you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food. The dishes are served straight by korean soul, which really adds to the homely and genuine Korean vibe. Their fried chicken is the highlight, it's light, crispy, juicy, and not overly salty, served hot and very satisfying. The yangnyeom version leans sweeter with a gentle kick, perfect if you enjoy sauced fried chicken. Beyond chicken, the menu is surprisingly well-rounded. The sundubu jiggae is clean, warming, and full of fresh seafood without any fishy taste, while the bulgogi kimbap is generously filled and well balanced with pickled radish. Snacks like goguma cheese balls, gun mandu, and hotteok make great add-ons and feel just like street food in Korea. The semi-outdoor seating gives it a casual, laid-back feel. Overall, a comforting spot for honest Korean meals that keep you coming back.

A good spot if you’re craving Korean food. Open space dining area with some garden view, you can come after playing golf beside. The taste of the food feels right, reasonable price. They say it's authentic Korean food. Definitely would come back to try another menu.

I lived in Korea for a couple of years and since moving back to Indonesia I haven’t been able to find one that nails the texture of Korean fried chicken, until now. This place is legit!

Amazing satisfactory authentic Korean meal at a good price! Our favourites were the kimbap, chicken, and hotteok. Will definitely revisit
